I've got to give a shout out to Superbowl 50 last night and the winners, the Denver Broncos!! Peyton Manning was a quarterback at University of Tennessee, GO VOLS!, so of course I was thrilled to see him bring home the win. If my Skins or Titans can't be in it then I want to see a Manning win.
And speaking of Mannings, a few of their names ended up on my potential names list for our newest family member. In the end we went with Cooper. In the past we've done musical names but I just couldn't find one that fit this little guy and we liked Cooper. It has been six years since we've had a puppy in the house. You tend to forget a few of the things that go along with them!
Our sweet girl Maggie loved him the first day, but unfortunately has decided she doesn't like the fact we are keeping him. We are working hard on this and really hoping it is short lived. I know she misses Bootz very much and you could see how happy she was the first day playing with Cooper.
If you didn't watch the Superbowl last night, at least take a second to find Lady Gaga's National Anthem video somewhere on the internet. She did a fabulous job.
